January 30th

Today we woke up and got down to breakfast, Lily was a happy baby, Jeremy slept in until after noon (he is getting a head start on adjusting to the timezone)

Mom, Jonah and Lily went for a walk, Mom made Jonah get some pictures in front of a gross restaurant with dead things hanging in the window... little did he know that we would be eating there that night!

We went to the Consulate and swore the "oath"  (complete waste of time, but some bureaucrat has not fixed this yet... there is no reason why we could not have just signed an oath or had the oath notarized, but instead they herd you like cattle into a nasty room where you just can't help think that you may get some new germs.  Anyway, mission accomplished and now everything is in order and complete, tomorrow we get our visa for Lily and fly to Hong Kong.

The group shot on the red sofa, and other pics of our family.

We took Raymond our CCAI rep out to dinner with Tim and Joanne... we ate pigeon, chicken, beef, snake, crab and lots of other interesting things.  Raymond ate all the heads since he was the guest of honor.  (Jeremy was going to fight him for the chicken head... but I made sure Raymond got to eat it.)

sand eel wild boar  water cockroaches  alligator turtle      snake before we ate one crab before we ate one  some sort of funky elephant trunk oyster   eels  octopus then after dinner the boys played in the arcade and Lily helped pack
