Introducing Emma Faith Johnson

Emma is waiting for us at the Xinxiang SWI in Henan China, we will be leaving Sep 3, 2008.

Our family had a dream of adopting a baby girl from China.  After two long years the dream became a reality.  We have documented our adventure and travel to Beijing, Hefei, Chuzhou, Guangzhou, Hong Kong and finally... HOME with Lily Grace Johnson. 

If this is your first time visiting us then you will want to begin with Chapter 1 which covers our referral on November 20th 2002 and goes to Chapter 6 which ends on Feb 2nd 2003 in our home!   The 2003/2004/2005/2006/2007/2008 sections are where we store photos of our life categorized by month. The link to CCAI 443 is a spot for our travel group and the other families that we traveled with.  We will post updated pictures as they are shared and any websites that our travel group may have.  The section on Chuzhou is for the orphanage that Lily was from the day after she was born until 20 months later when we arrived to pick her up.  The orphanage took wonderful care of her and showed us incredible hospitality.  They have sent us Christmas cards and are incredibly kind and loving people, we thank them and bless them for what they did for Lily and our family.  

We also want to say "thank you" to our family and friends that have supported this trip and dream.  Thank you, thank you.  For those of you considering adoption overseas we hope that we can share enough of our experiences and answer any questions you may have to help you make a decision that will change so many lives for the better.
